Directions & Parking

For bus  service from NYC to New Hope, click the following link:  Transbridge Bus Lines

From New  York and North including Newark International Airport

1. Take  either Route 80 West to Morristown or Route 78 West (by Newark Airport)  to Somerville (NJ).
2. Take Route  287 South toward Somerville.
3. Follow  signs to Flemington, Route 202 South, Exit 17.
4. Proceed  approximately 12 miles to a traffic circle; go 1/2 way around and  continue on Route 202 South another 12 miles to New Hope Toll Bridge.
5. Take first  exit after toll, marked "New Hope, Route 32 South" and proceed approx. 1  mile to New Hope's one and only traffic light and continue 2 1/2 blocks.  The Jonathan Rice Collection is on the left directly across the street  from Havana's Restaurant.

From Long  Island, including JFK Int'l and Staten Island:

1. Verrazano  Bridge to 440 South to Outer Bridge to Route 287 North to Somerville,  Exit 17 to Route 202 South to Flemington (continue as above).
    

From  Philadelphia and South including Philadelphia International Airport:

1. Take I-95  North to New Hope, exit 51.
2. Turn left  at the end of the exit ramp.
3. This is  Taylorsville Road. Continue 5 miles to stop sign.
4. This is  River Road (Route 32). Turn left at stop sign.
5. Proceed  North on Route 32 approximately another 5 miles into the village of New Hope.
6. The Jonathan Rice Collection is  approximately 2 1/2 blocks on the right, across from Havana's  Restaurant.

From  points West:

1. PA  Turnpike East to Route 611 North (Willow Grove exit)
2. Proceed to  Route 202 North to Route 179 North (Bridge Street).
3. At second traffic light, make a  right and proceed 2 1/2 blocks.
4. The  Jonathan Rice Collection will be on the left, just across from Havana's  Restaurant.

Parking Tips

• Metered  Parking
  Bring quarters for meters.  20 minutes for a quarter and they  go from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm daily. 
   There are plenty of meters on South Main and Waterloo Street.
• Parking Lots
  Weekend Lots -- mostly at South end of town.  Best Prices $5.00 per day.  Also at high school, just 3 blocks West of center of town.
  Permanent Lots
  $6.00 to $10.00 per day.
• New Hope Borough document about parking.
   

If you need extra quarters, we will be happy to provide change to you during our business hours.
Please be sure to park within the lines, and no more than 12" from the curb.
